This is the exact replacement filter I needed and couldn't find locally. The foam strips seal it in place. The last one I could get locally didn't have the foam and in my system it makes a whistle as air blows through. Merv 11 is more expensive but worth it to me.

They had a "not quite right" filter at my local Home Depot. I decided to order the real deal and wait. This filter came quickly, in perfect condition and ... this may not seem like a big thing ... packaged perfectly. No monster box, no excess packaging, just the filter I ordered. Right to my door. Thank you.

Works great just as I expected from an OEM filter. Much better than those 1" thick cheapo filters. Of course, this filter requires the correct equipment otherwise it wouldn't fit.
