This filter worked fine in my Aprilaire unit, but i ended up retiring the whole machine because it was too old, the filters were becoming expensive, and the unit doesn't recycle any water so it wastes gallons a day. I'm switching out to a humidifier that has a similar filter, but uses all the water in the tank you fill. It's more work to fill the tanks, but at least it doesn't waste water.
