This is not a "genuine" Aprilaire product. It arrived shrink wrapped, not in Aprilaire packaging, which is usually a trademarked printed carton. This is third party, yet the amazon listing claims it to be genuine OEM. Not true. If you want the real thing, do not order this item. Caveat Emptor.
11/10/13: Further investigation revealed that the media pad is about a 1/4" thinner than the real genuine pad I got from a reputable source. More evidence that Filters-Now is trying to sell fake or counterfeit product. Listing it on Amazon as genuine is a lie.

This water panel was priced right and arrived quickly. But although it has the appearance of genuine Aprilaire media, it was not packaged in an Aprilaire-labeled box. So unless Aprilaire is allowing third parties to sell its media without the Aprilaire name attached, it would appear that the item is not genuine Aprilaire media.
