I bought my Honeywell humidifier a few years ago, and though it works great, all the local stores (Walmart, Target, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) have stopped carrying the replacement filter. Such a pain! Thank goodness it was available here and at a cheaper price.

I bought the filter to use in a Honeywell humidifier. It has an aluminum outside core which helps it stand up in the humidifier. It performs as well as could be expected.

Like another customer who has rated this product, I own a Honeywell HCM-890. That customer's claim that the filters do not work with this unit is a real head scratcher -- because in fact they work perfectly. How could it be otherwise, since the manufacturer claims specifically that the product works with the Honeywell HCM-890? Moreover, this is a good replacement for a higher-priced filter, so what's to complain about from any fair-minded customer?
