This is an awesome humidifier. It goes together quickly, is easy to fill, and, best of all, almost silent. It is fantastic and I like that it has a timer on it. Plus, it does not look like typical humidifiers. Stylish and keeps my allergies at bay!

This humidifier is the best one I've purchased and I've purchased many. It's very easy to use and it makes no noise! I love the look of it, no one will know there is a humidifier in the room.

a) Living room - only if it's not too big. Even at the highest setting, it'll work on small-average size spaces. Good looks, quiet operation, nice "little cloud" effect. In the living room it is actually quiet since the TV or something else is playing.
b) Bedroom - effective (bedrooms are not very large spaces), but noisy for sleep. If your bedroom is quiet, this will be annoying, since the motor can be heard going on and off (?) continuously under any setting.
Overall, I would highly recommend it for small to medium size living rooms, not for bedrooms. I would have given it 4 stars if it was cheaper. It's just thin plastic with a motor, doesn't justify the price.
