The pad fits well in the frame but I noticed a difference in the general humidity in the house, not as humid as I like. Also, the excess water pump seems to operate more frequently with this pad.

Although this replacement fits just fine in the unit, the quality is nothing like the original I had in it before. Original pad was constructed almost entirely of a kind of expanded aluminum design. This replacement doesn't appear to have any metal in it. Seems to be a cheaper paper-like coated material. Definitely not as good. I suppose this is just another example of products being made less expensive. Just because it carries the Honeywell name, it doesn't reflect what I expected from them. Not sure how well it works since I just installed it today.

product ok does the job.
to know befor purchasing : That those filter were made of paper i guest that is why the "P" in model # and probably model hc22a is aluminuim "A" for Alum...
